Why are participant registrations only for pledge fundraisers this year?

Historically, peer-to-peer fundraisers were created as a way for participants to raise money for a cause dear to their heart. Since the inception of WWLM's Walk Event, participants who chose to fundraise, have yielded the largest percentage of our total event income. 

What if I don't want to be a pledge fund participant and raise money, but I still want to be a part?

What happens if I am unable to raise the minimum pledge funds?

Registration is free, so we've removed the minimum amounts to be raised. We believe that each participant will meet their desired fundraising goal - Be creative and do what you love!

Can I receive pledge funds in-person?

Yes! However, all cash & checks received must be recorded on a pledge tracker (found here).  All funds received in-person, along with the completed pledge tracker(s), must be submitted to the Mission 2 Feed team by Friday, May 31st between 10 AM - 4 PM*

Can I deposit pledge funds received in-person into my own bank account?

No. Pledge donations received by a participant must be submitted directly to the chartiy as received by the donors. This ensures the proper recording of the origination of the funds and that non-profit donation receipting standards are being followed.

What happens if I receive a check supporting my page, made out to me personally?

1. You could ask for the check to be reissued, payable to WWLM, Inc. or...

2. You can sign the check over to WWLM by doing the following:  In the signature space on the back of the check, write "Pay to the order of WWLM" followed by your signature underneath.

Is donor information secure through my online fundraising page?

Yes! WWLM, Inc. uses the Neon One fundraising platform, which uses industry-proven measures to provide safe and trusted fundraising, with multiple technology and compliance certifications, utilizing secure cloud, computing, and data management encryption with strict access requirements, so all data is available and secure.​

Will donor's or supporter's contact information be sold or shared?

No.  Our privacy policy:  We take the privacy of your information seriously. We will not disclose personal information without your permission. To process your order, certain service providers have access to your address, email, and phone; but only for the purpose of completing the order and for internal tracking purposes. You will not be contacted by these service providers except in the case of questions or issues with your donation.

 

All donors and event participants are added to WWLM's internal contact database, from which periodic emails are issued, giving updates on programs, campaigns, and events, allowing for donors to stay connected to WWLM's mission.

(As with all electronic mail, recipients are able to unsubscribe at their discretion.)

World-Wide Lighthouse Missions, Inc. (WWLM) is a registered 501(C)(3) organization, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Gift in Honor/Memorial donations made during events or fundraisers for $250 or more are eligible for notification to desired individual.

This is a public event, therefore World-Wide Lighthouse Missions, Inc. reserves the right to publish in print, electronic, or video format, any images or video footage received from Mission 2 Feed without recognition or compensation to any individuals or businesses featured therein.
