Why are participant registrations only for pledge fundraisers this year?
Historically, peer-to-peer fundraisers were created as a way for participants to raise money for a cause dear to their heart. Since the inception of WWLM's Walk Event, participants who chose to fundraise, have yielded the largest percentage of our total event income.
What if I don't want to be a pledge fund participant and raise money, but I still want to be a part?
Other opportunities include:
Medal Sponsorships (including gift incentives)
Sponsor a pledge participant & help them reach their fundraising goal!
What happens if I am unable to raise the minimum pledge funds?
Registration is free, so we've removed the minimum amounts to be raised. We believe that each participant will meet their desired fundraising goal - Be creative and do what you love!
Can I receive pledge funds in-person?
Yes! However, all cash & checks received must be recorded on a pledge tracker (found here). All funds received in-person, along with the completed pledge tracker(s), must be submitted to the Mission 2 Feed team by Wednesday, May 31st between 10 AM - 4 PM*

Can I deposit pledge funds received in-person into my own bank account?
No. Pledge donations received by a participant must be submitted directly to the chartiy as received by the donors. This ensures the proper recording of the origination of the funds and that non-profit donation receipting standards are being followed.
What happens if I receive a check supporting my page, made out to me personally?
1. You could ask for the check to be reissued, payable to WWLM, Inc. or...
2. You can sign the check over to WWLM by doing the following: In the signature space on the back of the check, write "Pay to the order of WWLM" followed by your signature underneath.
Is donor information secure through my online fundraising page?
Yes! WWLM, Inc. uses the Neon One fundraising platform, which uses industry-proven measures to provide safe and trusted fundraising, with multiple technology and compliance certifications, utilizing secure cloud, computing, and data management encryption with strict access requirements, so all data is available and secure.
Will donor's or supporter's contact information be sold or shared?
All donors and event participants are added to WWLM's internal contact database, from which periodic emails are issued, giving updates on programs, campaigns, and events, allowing for donors to stay connected to WWLM's mission.
