Manchester CT~ We want to give a shout-out to the Manchester High School Sewing Group! This group of talented young people made and donated 23 homemade hats. They are so beautiful, soft, and warm! Awesome job!
New Song Ministries, Manchester CT~ We were able to bless New Song Ministries with 344 winter items which consisted of coats, blankets, hats, mittens and scarves!
What a blessing to support this wonderful outreach that is making a difference within our community – helping the homeless and needy.
Giving Tuesday 2022 ~ This event started off with a great crew of 33 volunteers that came in Monday Night (Giving Tuesday Eve) - with one group helping to receive, sort, count and bag cans & bottles for redemption, which sponsors our feeding outreaches!
Another group helped with end-of-the-year inventory and reorganization of the warehouse
And, yet another group over at the Donation Center finished sorting and packing donations; as well as, end-of-the-year inventory!
THEN, on to the DAY of Giving Tuesday - we had a team of 27 volunteers who took a trip to the Adult & Teen Challenge - CT -- We were so thankful that God blessed us with a clear day, as our tasks had most of our team working outside...
The yardwork team had lots to do,
including clearing away newly fallen trees.
The painting crew had over 200 pieces of trim
to tackle and they did it with ease!
The construction team stepped in to tackle some important piece-work and got a great start on prepping some of the cabins for new flooring & outdoor decking.
The cleanout team worked diligently to clear out 5 more cabins, cleaning and staging some of the items for future use.
It was a wonderful two days filled with great fellowship, lots of laughter and the greatest part was everyone walked away knowing that together, we had made a difference!
ON TOP OF ALL THAT... these volunteers went to town getting their volunteer hours sponsored and collectively raised a total of $5,061.67 for the Adult & Teen Challenge - CT's chapel renovation project, which is set to begin this coming spring!

We will be able to accept juices, teas, lemonade, Gatorade, and energy drinks THAT HAVE "CT" ON THEM!
