On our first mission visits to this
community, our lives were forever
changed as we walked the dusty
hills that were spotted with
handmade grave crosses.

Tuberculosis was widespread, causing many lives to be lost.  God placed within our hearts the burden to make a difference in this seemingly forsaken place.  Nearly 25 years later, the El Faro Church stands in the midst of a flourishing community, where life is abundant. 

The hope of God’s love is reaching out to many communities from this church as the workers provide support both spiritually and naturally by distributing much needed aid – clothes, food, school supplies, and more.  In their travels, they share God’s love and messages of salvation.  From this, two churches have been birthed in neighboring communities and thousands of lives have been changed.
