Without an education, the only future
many of the children will have is a life of stealing and begging, in hope that they
will be able to satisfy their hunger pains.

The compassion of our workers in D.R. Congo for these children birthed The Friend of Knowledge School. This school reaches out to orphans and families who cannot afford to send their children to school. It is a place where these children not only learn to read and write, but they find a haven of love and rest that they can run to. Teachers and workers have dedicated their lives to care for each boy and girl as if they are their own, and become the only family for so many of them. They embrace the broken lives of these children with the love of Jesus Christ. The Friend of Knowledge School has become their future, their family, their hope, and as the name indicates, their friend.
